Beginner Youth Camp - Ages 9 and up
Do you have a creative child that is interested in sewing? Getting them started young is a big advantage for there future and possibly a great hobby or career. They will join us for a week and sew several different projects and learn all the basics and a few advanced things about sewing. We will furnish the sewing machines for this. Space limited so sign up now. June 7th-10th 10:30am-1pm.
Intermediate Youth Camp - a step up from beginner. If your child is experienced with sewing and wants to stick with it this is the perfect camp for them. In this week long journey they will focus on more advanced pattern's and project's. We will furnish the sewing machines for this. Space limited so sign up now! June 21st - 24th, 10:30am - 1pm.
Beginner Sewing - ages 14 and up
Many of you would like to learn to sew or brush up on your sewing techniques, here is your chance. Anyone can take one or all the segments in our ongoing sewing curriculum. After completing these classes, you will be able to work with any pattern and sew your own wardrobe. This is a 5 session learning program to teach you how to sew clothing. Learn how to put in zippers, waistbands, collars and necklines, sleeves, facings, fitting and layout of a pattern. After this class you will be on your way to trying out for Project Runway. We will furnish the machines and supplies. Sign up now! 4 - Monday evenings, May 10th, 17th, 24th & June 7th is the first session or 4 - Wednesday evenings, July 7th, 14th, 21st, & 28th - this is a 4 part class.
We offer a variety of events throughout the year. We do both in store and out of store sessions. We try to have different experts come in so you can get a lot of different ideas.
