Thursday, March 7th - AM Class - Backgrounds, Borders & Blocks. These are the 3 basic components of many pieced quilt tops, and there are tricks to quilting them with a cohesive overall look, while creating your own personal style. Learn how to adapt to complement each area.
PM Class - Quilting Beyond the Design. Begin with a basic design from a stencil, ruler, applique, fabric, etc. and learn how to transfer that design from basic to spectacular by extending, expanding, or adding for special effects. Learn marking techniques and tools for applying designs to your quilt tops.
Friday, March 8th - Introduction to Pro-Stitcher, part 1 & 2. Pro-Stitcher is an intuitive computer guided quilting system that is user friendly and simple to operate. Use it for finishing your own quilts or consider a quilting business. New owners/interests start here. This course is required before the advanced Pro-stitcher class that will be offered at our next long arm event, most likely in the fall '19.
