Beginner Quilting with Stripology Rulers
Join us for this one day beginner quilting class. During this course you will make a lap sized quilt using the Stripology Method. This method uses a ruler system that helps you cut everything the correct size so its super easy to piece together. You will need to have your own Stripology Rulers. If you don't already have them no problem, you can purchase them here. You will be able to reuse your Stripology Rulers for many other projects. You will learn all the tricks during this course. Sewing Machines are furnished by Fonder Sewing Machine Company for your use during class.
Required Supplies:
Pins, scissors, thread, seam ripper, sewing needles, Stripology XL squared ruler, Stripology Stickers, Stripology Quickies book. All of these supplies are available for purchase at Fonders.
Fabric Requirements:
Cotton or flannel works well for this quilt
10 Half yards of fabric
You are welcome to bring your own fabric. Fabric bundles will also be available to purchase at the class.
Cost of fabric will be approximately $ 70.00 for the ½ yard bundle. Cost of backing will be approximately $48.00
2/3 yd fabric for Binding if not using a scrappy Binding
4 yds fabric for Backing
Bring a sack lunch as this class will run through the lunch hour.
